About Kimchi

You may be asking yourself what exactly does 'kimchi is my drug' mean?

Well, that's a funny story.

The story starts by admitting that Kimchi is two people. We are two chicks watching Netflix out of boredom. Now, if you have Netflix, you understand that the selection of foreign movies is rather....odd.

So with that said...

With excitement, we discovered 'Boys Over/Before/Under/Near/Around/Behind Flowers'. We've heard of this show and just had to watch. As is typical of Korean entertainment, we were in absolute AWE of how truly terrible it was from the first few minutes. Then, in the midst of yet another bad Korean pop song, the lyrics seemed to say 'kimchi is my drug'.

Oh yes, we found purpose.

We are not here to rave about Korean television nor is this page just about all things Korean. There's plenty of other people to wax poetic about Korea and it's entertainment industry. We simply want to share the random thoughts we have while watching the shows we do agree to watch -which is a chore in itself since we are like night and day. It has been and no doubt will continue to be an awe-inspiring experience of bad acting, bad fashion, and terrible plot lines. So you can call this a review page if you'd like but it's more than that -it's us giving you a peek into what we call Movie Night.

So grab your Pocky sticks, kick off your flip-flops, and grab a pillow...
